Intraop Medical Announces New Board Members

Intraop Medical Corporation (OTCBB:IOPM) announced today the addition of two distinguished professionals to its Board of Directors. Paul J. Crowe and Keith Jacobsen have joined the board of Intraop whose primary product is the Mobetron, a proprietary medical device providing intraoperative electron radiation therapy (IOERT) for cancerous tumors. IOERT treatment can dramatically improve cancer survival rates and local control of the disease.
Mr. Crowe has over 30 years of experience in sales, corporate development, capital finance and operation of high-technology medical imaging and therapy products and services for the healthcare industry. He is founder and currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Nuview Radiopharmaceuticals Corporation. Mr. Crowe founded Molecular Imaging Corporation and co-founded the San Diego Gamma Knife Center, LLC. Mr. Crowe has extensive experience with the development and operations of static and mobile medical imaging services and in forming medical joint ventures.
Mr. Jacobsen has over 30 years executive experience in corporate finance and administration within the transportation industry, most recently with American President Companies. He has served as Treasurer of the City of Orinda and was a highly decorated First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He holds a BS and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
